On October 9th, 2025, you will depart from the United States to begin your unforgettable journey to Northern Italy. You will spend 9 wonderful days touring this magnificent area and soaking in all that it has to offer. Vineyard visits, wine tasting, a lake tour, a fun day in Switzerland, and Venetian charm all await you. Please see Special Tour Conditions below.
Buongiorno Italia! On October 10th, you will arrive in Milan, where you will be met by your private bus to begin your adventure. You will immediately proceed to Menaggio on Lake Como for your five-night stay in this well-known lake resort region. On October 11th, your lake adventure begins with a three-hour private boat tour* of the lake. You will see celebrity homes and beautiful villas that abound along the shoreline. On October 12th, you will visit one of the most beautiful villas, Villa Balbianello* used for scenes in movies such as “Casino Royale” and “Star Wars” and is well known for its romantic scenery and inspirational views. October 13th, you will depart in the morning for a day of vineyard tours, lunch and wine tasting*. A full day visit to nearby Lugano, Switzerland* is planned for October 14th. The city of Lugano, Switzerland, situated directly beside Lake Lugano, is a town known for parks, flowers, villas and sacred buildings.
On the morning of October 15th, you will say goodbye to Lake Como as you depart for the charming and significant town of Venice. En-route you will enjoy a wine tasting lunch* in a vineyard. Venice was built by draining the lagoon, digging canals, and driving wooden stakes into the ground to build platforms on top to support the construction of homes, churches and businesses. Your private boat will be waiting to transfer you to your Venetian hotel. The highlight of October 16th is a tour of the world-famous La Fenice Opera House*. The remainder of your day is free to explore the many islands that make up Venice. Your last full day in Venice October 17th, will include a panoramic-tour* along the Prosecco Road. This day will also include visits to three wineries with tastings as well as a lunch at one of the vineyards. October 18th, you will transfer to the Venice airport for your return flight to the United States taking with you wonderful memories, souvenirs, and pictures from your beautiful adventure.
SPECIAL TOUR CONDITIONS: *The estimated land only tour price, if payments are made by cash or check, is $4495.00; otherwise, if paying by credit card, a 3% credit card service fee (charged by credit card company) will be due for, other than the initial deposit for which there is no credit card service fee, whatever amount is charged to the credit card. If you wish to use a credit card for your initial deposit, you will be allowed to pay the remaining payments by check and still receive the listed tour price without a 3% surcharge. Tour price is based on double occupancy and includes point-to-point transportation between cities while in Europe, all breakfasts and 3 wine tasting adventures that include lunch. Additionally, entrance fees and/or transportation marked with an asterisk (*) as well as a lake tour are included in the tour price. Tours of Villa Balbianello and La Fenice are included. Additional items may be offered optionally, are subject to availability and are not included in the tour price. A guaranteed single room may be available for a per person supplemental charge, available upon request. A minimum number of paying participants may be required to operate the tour.
A $500.00 non-refundable (for any reason) application fee / deposit is required to reserve your space on this tour. All tour participants must submit an online application. Please go to “Student/Traveler Sign Up” on the home page at www.EAtours.com. Your tour number is 226123 and must be entered on your online application. A second payment of $1000.00, for which you will receive an invoice, will be due no later than 30 days from the date that EA Tours receives your initial payment and online application. Final payments are due no later than one hundred ten (110) days before departure.
Updated tour details (hotels, day by day itinerary, etc.) are scheduled to be released approximately four weeks prior to departure.
